Inline sampler
Continuous and representative sampling with an inline sampler
An inline sampler provides an efficient and reliable method for collecting representative samples directly from a process line or pipeline. By taking samples within the flow stream itself, an inline sampler enables continuous monitoring of wastewater and process water without interrupting operations.
TEC42 develops advanced inline samplers for industrial and municipal applications where accuracy, reliability and low maintenance are essential. Inline samplers are a typical Dutch product, because we need to pump our wastewater through our flat country. TEC42 therefore offers a wide range of inline samplers suited to each application.

What is an inline sampler?
An inline sampler is installed directly in a pipe or process line and automatically collects samples from the flowing medium. Because the sampler operates directly within the process flow, it provides a more representative picture of actual wastewater or process water conditions. Inline samplers are commonly used for:
- Wastewater monitoring
- Industrial process control
- Effluent sampling
- Environmental compliance programmes
- Water quality monitoring
- Automated laboratory sampling
A type for every application
TEC42 offers a wide range of inline samplers, each designed for a specific pipe pressure and application:
- Type PP3 (Pin pneumatic 3 bar): treated wastewater up to 3 bar pipe pressure.
- Type GP3 (Guillotine pneumatic 3 bar): raw wastewater up to 3 bar pipe pressure.
- Type GP6 (Guillotine pneumatic 6 bar): raw wastewater up to 6 bar pipe pressure.
- Type GP2R & PP2R: remove your sampler without draining the line, up to 2 bar line pressure.
- Type GE3 (Guillotine electric 3 bar): no compressed air supply required, raw wastewater up to 3 bar line pressure.

Why choose an inline sampler?
Reliable, automated monitoring
Many industrial processes require continuous insight into water quality and process performance. Manual sampling is often time-consuming, labour-intensive and prone to inconsistencies. An inline sampler offers several important advantages:
- Fully automated sample collection
- Consistent and repeatable sampling
- Reduced labour requirements
- Improved data quality
- Continuous process monitoring
- Reduced risk of human error
